The Nervi I Association

The Nervi I Association was founded on the 13th of May 1984, on the initiative of the then-group leader of Genova Levante and with the support of many bosses and parents of the time. His purpose was precisely to be able to buy, renovate and then manage Le Casette, an asset conceived as a training ground for scouting techniques and life.

In 2007 the original statute of the Association was modified, to take into account the foundation of the Genova 15 Group, which, together with Genova Levante, shares responsibility for Le Casette.
In fact, the members of the community leaders of the two groups and the Magister of the Masci Community "Genova Levante - Carlo Scabazzi" are part of the Association by right. Other people, who share the aims and spirit of the Association (which expressly recall those of AGESCI), can freely join.
The Association is managed by a Board of Directors elected every three years and which includes a group leader from Genova Levante and a group leader from Genova 15, as well as the Magister of Masci and a second representative for each "Co.Ca."
The purpose of the Association is to take care of the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the land, manage its assignment to the scout groups that frequent it, and assist them in the activities that involve work on Le Casette.

On the 16th of November 2022, the new statute was approved and modified in accordance with the legislation governing the Third Sector. By enrolling in RUNTS - Single National Register of the Third Sector, the Nervi I Association becomes an APS - Association for Social Promotion.
